Discovering Herculaneum

Herculaneum (Ercolano), is one of the towns destroyed by volcanic pyroclastic flows in 79 DC.

As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it's famous as one of the few ancient cities that can now be seen in much of its original splendour.

Herculaneum became the fashion for the Roman aristocracy to build magnificent seaside villas.

The particular circumstances of the burial have enabled the conservation of the roofs and upper floors of the houses, 300 skeletons of fugitives discovered on the beach, a beautiful wooden boat, villas and interior decorations, leaving an inestimable and unique heritage.

This is the perfect tour for travelers who want to admire the treasures of this almost completely preserved site, smaller than Pompeii but no less important.

Together we will also see La Casa dell'Albergo, La Casa del Tramezzo di Legno, La Casa di Nettuno and Anfitrite, La Casa dei Cervi and the latest discoveries of the archaeological site.

I will make you jump back in history!
