ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXCAVATION OF UNDERGROUND NAPLES

The buried Neapolis located under the Basilica of San Lorenzo Maggiore, is composed of the remains of the Greek Roman city. You can see the Roman market, the original street of Naples, the tax office and the ancient shops.

THE FONTANELLE  CEMETERY

The Fontanelle Cemetery is an ex ossuary that grows over 3000 square meters, located in the heart of the Rione Sanità, and is one of the most characteristic places in Naples. Here the ritual of the "pezzenterie souls" that is, the adoption and care of an abandoned soul in exchange for protection.
